You don’t have to sell memberships every time. Sometimes we need to group several users and provide content access to those group of users. In such cases, administrator can manually assign/remove memberships to users to give/remove them access to specific content.
Sell Paid Memberships with WooCommerce
We use WooCommerce integration for capturing payments for memberships. You can create membership level and associate it with a WooCommerce Membership Type product. Users can purchase the product using WooCommerce and get access to the restricted content for the associated membership level.
User can also purchase multiple membership levels.
Lifetime or Time Based Memberships
Memberships can be set as Lifetime to give unlimited access to content for lifetime. You can als create memberships that gets expired after certain time period. The user can renew the membership by re purchasing the membership product.
Protect Content with Membership Levels
You can protect posts/pages/custom post types/menu items and widgets using membership levels. Each content will have a specific membership level and users with a active membership level will be allowed to access the content.
